These general terms of use and sale (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the RelocDesk platform, accessible at https://relocdesk.com, as well as the purchase of paid plans. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. The sections on sales, plans, subscription, withdrawal and refunds apply as soon as you purchase a paid plan. RelocDesk is a SaaS platform designed to help expatriates organize their relocation abroad by centralizing housing, school, and service research on an interactive map with AI-powered tools. RelocDesk is a service published by GAMECELSIOR, a French SAS with a share capital of €10,000, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 934 661 463, whose registered office is at 13B Avenue de la Motte-Picquet, 75007 Paris, France.
RelocDesk provides the following features: - Relocation project management: Create and organize projects for different destinations. - Interactive map: Add, visualize and manage places on a MapLibre-based map. - Kanban board: Organize places and tasks using drag-and-drop columns. - AI search: Find places, generate tasks and comparators using Google Gemini AI (subject to credit availability). - Budget tracking: Track relocation expenses by category, project and payer. - Price tracker: Compare prices across shops and scan receipts. - Comparison tables: Create and manage customizable offer comparisons. - Photo management: Upload and organize photos for each place. - Multilingual interface: Available in French, English, German and Spanish. The service is provided on a "best effort" basis. We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue features at any time with reasonable notice.
By using RelocDesk, you agree to: - Provide accurate and up-to-date information when creating your account. - Keep your login credentials confidential and not share your account. - Use the service lawfully and in accordance with these Terms. - Not upload illegal, harmful, defamatory or infringing content. - Not attempt to access other users' data or circumvent security measures. - Not use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the service without authorization. - Not abuse AI features (e.g., submitting harmful, illegal or abusive queries). - Respect the usage limits of your subscription plan. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Our content: The RelocDesk platform, its design, code, branding, and editorial content (including expatriation guides) are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our platform without prior written consent. Your content: You retain ownership of all data and content you create on RelocDesk (projects, places, photos, notes, etc.). By uploading content to the platform, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. AI-generated content: Content generated by AI features (place suggestions, task lists, comparators) is provided as-is for informational purposes. We make no warranty as to its accuracy or completeness.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law: - RelocDesk is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. - We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or reliability of AI-generated content or third-party data (Google Places, maps). - We are not liable for decisions you make based on information found on or through the platform. - We are not responsible for temporary service interruptions due to maintenance, updates, or events beyond our control. - Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim. - We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms. By using RelocDesk, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our privacy practices.
RelocDesk paid plans are sold through Polar Software, Inc. (3500 South DuPont Highway, Dover, DE 19901, United States), which acts as reseller and merchant of record. When you pay for a plan, you buy it from Polar, and GAMECELSIOR provides you with access to the corresponding RelocDesk service. As such, Polar: - collects the payment on its secure checkout page (card processing is handled by its provider Stripe); - issues invoices and receipts, sent by email; - calculates, collects and remits the applicable VAT; - carries out refunds and handles payment disputes. Your card details do not pass through RelocDesk. Your purchase is also subject to Polar's buyer terms (https://polar.sh/legal/checkout-buyer-terms), which cannot limit the rights you hold under mandatory consumer protection law. Your rights to use the RelocDesk service are governed by these Terms.
The current plans are described on the Pricing page. All prices are in euros and include all taxes (VAT included). The exact amount to pay is shown before you confirm the payment. - Free: access to the service with usage limits (number of projects, places and AI credits). - Project Pass: €99 incl. VAT, one-time payment, with no subscription or renewal. It gives lifetime access to the paid features for one project, meaning with no time limit and no further payment for as long as the RelocDesk service is operated, and includes 50 AI credits. - Premium: €19 incl. VAT per month, monthly subscription renewed automatically until cancelled. It includes 20 AI credits per month. - AI credit packs (reserved for holders of a Project Pass or an active Premium subscription): 50 credits for €4.99, 150 credits for €9.99, 500 credits for €24.99, incl. VAT, one-time payment. Launch offer: a 25% discount applies to the Project Pass and the Premium subscription for any order placed until 31 December 2026 at 11:59 pm (Paris time). For the Premium subscription, the discounted price applies to billing periods starting until that date, then the regular price of €19 incl. VAT per month applies from the first renewal after the offer ends. Credit packs are not discounted. The price charged is always the one shown on the checkout page. AI credits: artificial intelligence features consume credits. The monthly credits of the Premium subscription are renewed at each billing period and do not roll over from one month to the next. Credits purchased in packs do not expire.
The Premium subscription runs for one month and renews automatically at each due date. Polar charges the amount at the start of each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the Billing page of your account (“Manage payments in Polar” button), or by writing to [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period: you keep access to Premium features until that date, and no further charge is made. Except where you exercise your right of withdrawal (see the Right of withdrawal section), the current period is not refunded pro rata. The Project Pass and credit packs are one-time purchases: they do not renew and require no cancellation.
If you are a consumer, you have 14 days to exercise your right of withdrawal, without giving any reason and without penalty (Articles L221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code). This period runs from the day the contract is concluded, that is, the day of your payment. How to withdraw: use the online withdrawal function “Withdraw from contract here”, available at the bottom of every page and from the Billing page of your account (https://relocdesk.com/en/retractation). Enter your name, the email address of your account and the contract concerned, then confirm with the “Confirm withdrawal” button. An acknowledgement stating the date and time your request was received is sent to you by email. You may also send a clear statement to [email protected] or use the model withdrawal form set out in the annex to Article R221-1 of the French Consumer Code. Project Pass and AI credit packs (digital content): these plans are supplied as soon as the payment is confirmed. Before payment, a mandatory checkbox lets you request immediate access and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal. Under Article L221-28 13° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal can therefore no longer be exercised once access has been supplied. Without this consent, the purchase cannot be completed. Premium subscription (service): before payment, a mandatory checkbox lets you request that the service starts immediately, during the withdrawal period. You keep your right of withdrawal for 14 days. If you exercise it, you pay, under Article L221-25 of the French Consumer Code, an amount proportionate to the service provided until you communicated your decision to withdraw, calculated pro rata to the days elapsed in the billed period. The balance is refunded to you. Your consent and the date on which you gave it are recorded with the order. If you withdraw, Polar refunds the amounts due no later than 14 days after we receive your decision, using the same means of payment as for the purchase. The subscription is then cancelled, and access to paid features and the AI credits linked to the order are removed.
Your statutory consumer rights, in particular the right of withdrawal and the legal guarantees under the French Consumer Code, apply regardless of Polar's terms. In case of conflict, the provisions most favourable to you prevail. Any refund request (withdrawal, billing error, duplicate payment, access issue) should be sent to GAMECELSIOR at [email protected] with your order reference. We review the request and, where it is justified, GAMECELSIOR triggers the refund with Polar, which makes it, as the seller, to the means of payment used for the purchase. You do not need to contact Polar. Outside the right of withdrawal and the legal guarantees, a full or partial refund may be granted as a goodwill gesture, on a case-by-case basis. A full refund of a plan removes the plan and the corresponding AI credits. A refund of a credit pack removes the corresponding credits, in proportion to the amount refunded. Please contact us before disputing a payment with your bank, so that we can handle your request quickly.
You may delete your account at any time from the settings page. Account deletion will permanently remove all your data within 30 days. We may suspend or terminate your account if: - You violate these Terms. - You use the service for illegal or harmful purposes. - Your account has been inactive for more than 24 months. Deleting your account immediately cancels an ongoing Premium subscription, with no further charge. It does not automatically refund the current period, without prejudice to your right of withdrawal. We will provide reasonable notice before termination, except in cases of serious violation.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with French law. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the use of RelocDesk shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in France. If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you also benefit from the mandatory provisions of the consumer protection laws of your country of residence. In the event of a dispute, please first send a written complaint to [email protected] so that we can seek an amicable solution.
We may modify these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the platform at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of RelocDesk after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
